I graduated from The John Marshall Law School in 1994. I began my legal career as an attorney with the Legal Aid Bureau in Chicago assisting low income families with their family law needs. All of my cases at the Legal Aid Bureau involved custody and visitation issues. I received intensive legal and courtroom experience in issues involving the best interest of children, domestic violence and all aspects related to the divorce process.

I have been practicing in Kane County and the surrounding counties of DuPage, Kendall, DeKalb and McHenry counties for almost five years.

Although many of the issues I deal with today are similar to the ones I experienced at the Legal Aid Bureau, I have become well versed in handling cases with complex financial issues. Some of the cases in which I have been involved have included marital estates in excess of five million dollars with complex issues regarding the valuation of closely held corporations, stock options, investment real estate and retirement assets.
